About Kenoil

Kenoil Marine Services was founded in 2000 with a modest start of just two small second-hand wooden barges. As a bunker supplier and operator, the company grew over the years in size and capabilities, owning newbuild steel bunker tankers equipped with mass flow meters to supply marine fuel to a wide spectrum of vessels calling at the port of Singapore.

Kenoil has a strong following from its portfolio of longstanding clients, built on a relationship of professionalism, integrity and mutual trust.

Upon the retirement of its founder in 2020, a new management team has taken over the reins to further the business locally and internationally with the recent establishment of KOSMOS Maritime.

Desmond leads the daily running of the Kenoil Group of companies. He has amassed over 20 years of maritime experience, with a strong forte in business development and commercial management.

He is the current Chairman of the National Mirror Committee for ISO22192 Standard: Bunkering of Marine Fuel using the Coriolis Mass Flow Meter System, volunteers on numerous industry workgroups and actively spearheads Kenoil’s CSR programme.

Desmond holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Merit) degree from Manchester Business School, which was sponsored by SPRING Singapore under its “Management Development Scholarship” programme and a Bachelor of Business degree (Distinction) in Transportation and Logistics from RMIT University, amongst other qualifications.

He was awarded the Minister’s Innovation Award (Distinguished Award) by the Singapore Ministry of Transport in 2012.

Candy heads up the finance and accounts departments of the Kenoil Group of companies, having garnered 7 years of experience in a similar role and an accumulated 17 years of work experience in the audit and accounting field.

She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
